By now you are surely using Facebook for either personal use or to generate leads for your business or both. If you’re not using Facebook in your business then please go right now and set up an account.
I’ve found Facebook to be an amazing tool for Free Lead Generation if it is used in the right way. So follow these simple tips and you’ll be well on your way:
Tip #1- Build relationships
For me this is the most important aspect of facebook lead generation strategy. If you want to be successful in generating leads on Facebook then you have to take a step back and start building relationships with people. I know when I first got started I got advice from my upline and they said “find people on Facebook and leave your business opportunity link on their page”. This the wrong way to go about finding prospects and it’s called spamming. No one will end up liking you let alone do business with you if you go around doing this.
So how do you Build Relationships? This leads onto the second tip.
Tip #2 – Connect With People
There are endless people to connect with on Facebook. One simple way is to join groups in your target market and connect with others within that group. Be sure to always introduce yourself. This means when you send a friend request, write a small message with it like mentioning which group you found them in and why you would like to connect with them. Remember this is not a sales pitch it is about getting to know them.
Don’t just forget about people once you’ve connect with them once. Keep interacting with them by leaving comments or sharing their content with your friends.
Tip # 3 – Provide Valuable Content
Generating leads on Facebook will only happen if you can attract people to you so you’ll need to present yourself as a leader in your chosen field. To do this, you’ll need to provide heaps of valuable content to your target market. This means giving away your best stuff. You can provide content by:
– commenting on other people’s updates
– leaving comments on Group pages
– providing links to useful resources in your updates.
